Business customers never have to pick the right column. Your plan moves itself up and down with what the app actually does, so what you pay is always the smallest plan that still covers you — including on the free plan, which is carried up like any other rather than left to walk into a wall.
- It never stops answeringReaching the limit is what moves the plan up, and requests keep being served straight through the change. The ceiling stops being a wall — nobody finds out the app grew because it stopped working.
- Down again when it is quietA move up holds for at least an hour before anything can come back down, so a busy afternoon cannot set the plan flapping. After that it drops on its own — growing is not a ratchet, and there is no downgrade to ask us for.
- An email every timeBoth directions, written to you when it happens. Nothing on the invoice at the end of the month is the first you hear of it.
And building does not count as traffic. The requests your app makes while you and Anton are still working on it in Studio are not metered and never move your plan. Looking at what you just built should cost nothing.Storage is the exception. Data and files count from the moment they exist — in preview, and on an app you have never published. Fill the storage your plan allows while you are still building and the plan moves up for that, exactly as it would for a live app.
