Short, and limited to the website itself. Buying and using Softeria Studio or RestAPI.com is governed by the agreement you enter into for those products, not by this page.
This website is operated by Softeria AS, organisation number 930 796 352, registered at Langelandsvegen 35, 6010 Ålesund, Norway. In the text below, "we" and "us" mean Softeria AS, and "you" means anyone using the site.
By using softeria.com you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please don't use the site.
These terms cover this website: the pages you are reading, the pricing information on them and the contact form.
They do not cover the products. Using Softeria Studio or RestAPI.com means creating an account on those platforms, and that use is governed by the terms of service, the subscription or credit terms and the data processing agreement you accept there. Where those documents and this page disagree about the products, those documents win.
You may read, print and share the pages here. What you may not do is fairly ordinary:
If someone breaks these rules we may block their access, and we will keep whatever records we need to deal with it.
The text, design, code and graphics on this site belong to Softeria AS or to our licensors, and are protected by copyright. "Softeria", "Softeria Studio", "Kriait" and "RestAPI.com", together with our logos, are our marks. Nothing on this page gives you a licence to use them.
The photographs of people on this site are our own, of our own colleagues. The landscape photographs are either in the public domain or used under licences that permit commercial use without attribution. They are tinted in the browser rather than altered in the file.
You may quote short extracts of our own text with a clear credit and a link back. For anything more, ask us — the answer is usually yes.
We work to keep this site accurate, but the pages here are marketing material, not a binding offer. Prices, plan capacities and product descriptions may change, and the pricing calculator gives an estimate based on our currently published plans rather than a quotation.
Prices are shown in Norwegian kroner and exclude VAT unless a page says otherwise. What you actually owe is what the agreement and order confirmation for the product say.
Some pages link to sites we do not run, including our own product platforms and our documentation. We are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices of any site we link to, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it.
We would like this site to be available and correct at all times, but we do not promise that it will be. It is provided as it is: we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice, and we give no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Service commitments belong to the product agreements, where they can be written down properly.
To the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost revenue, lost data or business interruption — arising from your use of this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Norwegian law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or a consumer's rights under mandatory consumer protection law.
How we handle personal data from this site is set out in our privacy notice. The short version: no tracking, no cookies, and the contact form is the only thing that collects anything.
We may update these terms as the site changes. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date at the top tells you when it was last revised. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If a dispute arises and we cannot settle it between us, the agreed venue is Møre og Romsdal tingrett in Ålesund. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, or of your right to bring the matter to the Norwegian Consumer Authority.
